À Magog, le 20 mars 2025, à l’âge de 96 ans, nous a quitté madame Stella Alice (Bonnell) Maybee, épouse de feu monsieur Robert John Maybee, demeurant à Austin et native de Lamaline, Terre-Neuve.

Nous annonçons avec grande tristesse le décès de Stella Alice (Bonnell) Maybee, une femme remarquable qui a vécu une vie pleine et vibrante.

Née en 1928, Stella résidait à Austin, Québec. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses fils chéris : Bob (Wendy ), Harold et Gary (Lise ) (feu Diane ); ses petits-enfants Sarah, Robert, Stephen, Melissa et Ryan; ses arrière-petits-enfants : Conner, Alexander, Olivia, feu Blake et feu April; ses sœurs et ses frères : Austin, Fred, feu Alma, feu Giles, feu Malcom et Leslie (Marie); sa soeur Beatrice (Gilbert ) et ses amis.

La famille souhaite exprimer sa profonde gratitude au personnel professionnel du CHSLD Memphrémagog pour les soins exceptionnels qu’ils ont prodigués à Stella. Votre compassion, votre gentillesse et votre dévouement ont dépassé toutes nos attentes, et nous vous en sommes éternellement reconnaissants.

La famille vous accueillera le jeudi 3 avril 2025 de 9 h à 11 h au Complexe funéraire Ledoux afin de recevoir vos témoignages de sympathie. Une cérémonie suivra à 11 h en la chapelle du complexe.

Repose en paix, chère Stella. Votre amour, votre sagesse et votre héritage seront chéris à jamais.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stella Alice Bonnell, a remarkable woman who lived a full and vibrant life, on March 20 2025 at the age of 96.

Born in 1928 in Lamaline Newfoundland, Stella lived in Austin, Quebec, and will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her sons: Bob ( Wendy ), Harold, and Gary (Lise), grandchildren: Sarah, Robert, Stephen, Melissa and Ryan, great-grandchildren: Conner, Alexander, Olivia and predeceased by her husband Robert John Maybee, Brothers Malcom, Giles and Sister Alma, her grandchildren Blake and April and her beloved daughter in law Diane and many other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the professional staff at the CHSLD Memphrémagog for providing exceptional quality of life care to Stella. Your compassion, kindness, and dedication went above and beyond, and we are forever grateful.

The family will welcome your condolences on Thursday April 3rd at 9am to 11am followed by a memorial service at 11am at the chapel of the Complexe funeraire Ledoux in Magog. Followed by a burial at Mount Royal Cemetery.

Donations in her memory may be made to cancer research society.
